The Global Sales Executive Council will define excellence, champion integrity and advance global recognition of sales as a trusted profession.

Established and governed by ISP, who retain final approval of standards, certification and intellectual property.

Five areas of work for the founding council in its first two years:

• ​Develop the GCSP standard and assessment
• Refresh the Sales Capability Framework​
• Set expectations for ethical selling​
• Advise on AI’s impact on sales and on the skills sellers need​
• Publish an annual report on sales professionalism​

Commitment: Four quarterly meetings a year​, plus one strategic initiative led by council members.​​
