Safety experts Arco win ethical sales award
Arco, the experts in workplace safety, have become the first in their industry to gain a prestigious Investor in Sales Award.
The award from the Institute of Sales Professionals (ISP) recognises Arco's commitment to provide a professional and ethical service to customers
To receive the team award, individual salespeople must pass a demanding exam – pass mark 80% - to appear on the ISP’s professional register.
Accreditation remains current for two years, at which point salespeople must pass a new exam to keep their place on the register and renew their team’s accreditation.
In addition, all of Arco’s field sales team have, or are undertaking, a Level 4 sales knowledge accreditation with the ISP’s affiliated Professional Sales Academy.
The Level 4 diploma covers the knowledge, skills and behaviour a professional business development manager or account manager needs to be successful in their role.
As part of their professional development, Arco’s salespeople also take a safety qualification from the Institution of Occupation Safety and Health (IOSH) to support and provide customers with expert knowledge and advice.
To reinforce the professional development of their sales teams, Arco has also signed up to become a corporate member of the ISP.
The Investor in Sales Award is a key part of the ISP’s Fair accreditation. Under the Fair framework, ISP members pledge to: Follow the rules; provide Appropriate solutions in the best interests of their customers, stakeholders and the organisations they work for; act with Integrity; and Raise the bar with continuing professional development.
