The Just Williams Sales Academy, endorsed by the Institute of Sales Professionals, is off to a flying start following its launch in late September.

The digital academy offers short, practical, online sessions designed to help small businesses enhance their selling skills. Over the weeks since launch, the academy’s popularity has thrived, with learners calling their training “thorough and insightful”.

The 30-minute modules include: sales as a process, lead generation, the art of communication, account management, networking essentials and scrutinising sales.

Just Williams founder and managing director, Jessica Williams, said; “It’s been fantastic to see The Just Williams Sales Academy start so strong since its launch in September. We’ve had a great response to our platform and our modules, with the feedback being absolutely superb. We’re committed to helping develop individuals and professionalising the sales industry.

“Becoming an endorsed training provider with the Institute of Sales Professionals has been a real achievement and one we are incredibly proud of.”

“Being able to support salespeople and business owners to learn and ultimately grow their business is a real passion of mine, and of the Academy too, so seeing people access the modules, using them and finding them effective, really emphasises the need for formalised, easily-accessed sales training.”

Andrew Hough, Institute of Sales Professionals CEO, said: “We are delighted that the Just Williams online sales academy has had such a successful launch and is already adding new modules to its online portfolio of sales training tools.

“Like Just Williams, we are keen to help SMEs to improve their selling skills. Small businesses are the backbone of the UK economy. They fuel economic growth and provide employment for about 17 million people. Expert selling is vital for the nation, supporting our public services, boosting our post-pandemic recovery and helping to cement profitable trade deals with our new economic partners around the world.”

The Institute of Sales Professionals has recently produced two parliamentary reports calling for the government to back higher sales skills amongst SMEs and to support the uptake of digital sales technology.
